By placing a booking with us (Keizersgracht 602 B&B/CARMEN AMSTERDAM) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. BOOKING WITH US
To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 16 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest, the person making the will be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out.
Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access with our express permission.
CREDIT CARD POLICY
Your credit card information will be stored according to our privacy policy so that we can secure your booking.
CANCELLATIONS
We love that you reserved with us and we take care in preparing for your arrival. If for any reason you need to cancel your stay, your credit card will be released as long as the cancellation is made before midnight 7 days prior to the check-in date.
Any reservation updates and/or cancellations received less than 7 days prior to your check-in date will be charged in full.
Should you need to cancel or amend your booking, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
ARRIVAL & CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in is at 15:00 but you are welcome to drop off your bags earlier if needed, just let us know!
Check-out is at 11:00 on the date of departure.
If you are unable to arrive during our standard check-in time, please be sure to get in touch with us so that we can make the proper arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate late check-outs and/or early check-ins during the high season.
FAIR WIFI USE
Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all our guests.
The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, and extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.
PARKING
Guests are welcome to park on the canal, day/night rates are available at the payment machines on the street.
ACCESSIBILITY
Unfortunately due to the architecture and heritage of the building we are unable to provide access for guests who are physically impaired.
HOUSE RULES
The management retains the right to cancel any booking where the house rules have been broken. You will not be refunded for any nights you have not completed.
DAMAGES & LOST PROPERTY
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs. Lost keys will incur a replacement charge per key lost.
Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. Because of privacy reasons we do not seek contact with guests regarding their lost or forgotten property. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners, we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belongings before checking-out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.
NOISE
Please try and keep the general noise levels during later hours of the day down, this is the case for inside the house as well as in the garden.
SMOKING
It is not permitted to smoke in the house, this includes in the guest rooms, inner courtyard, and other areas within the house. You are welcome to smoke in the garden or in front of the house at street level.
DRUG USE
It is strictly prohibited to use any illegal substances in the house and garden. The management will proceed to cancel your stay and you will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

PETS
We accept pets on a case-to-case basis and require guests to cover any damages made by their little/big friends.
